My therapeutic approach

My work is grounded in warmth, attunement, and deep respect for your lived experience.

Relational therapy

This approach invites you to use our relationship as a practice ground — a place to be more genuine, to risk honesty, and to discover how deeper connection can feel

Mindfulness-based practices

These practices invite us to step out of autopilot and into presence, making room for more choice, balance, and self-understanding.

AEDP

AEDP invites us to slow down and stay with emotions we may have avoided, while also noticing and celebrating what is already healthy and adaptive.

Person-centered therapy

It’s about being met with genuine curiosity and acceptance, so you can begin to see yourself with the same compassion and openness.

Emotion-focused therapy (EFT)

It’s about exploring our relationship with emotions — what we’ve learned to welcome, what we’ve pushed away — so we can better understand the needs and longings beneath them.

Cognitive behavioural therapy

Together, we’ll notice the habits of mind that keep you stuck and practice new ways of thinking that support growth, steadiness, and self-acceptance

A note on coverage

If you have extended health benefits, sessions may be covered under your plan. I’m a registered social worker, which is commonly accepted by plans in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Be sure to check with your provider for details on your specific coverage.

If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, I’d love to hear from you.
